On Mondays, we play 5v5 co-ed at 9th Street Soccer and Coffee, right in Minneapolis near the University area. Then, on Wednesdays and Fridays, the game moves to 8v8 co-ed at TOCA Soccer Center in Burnsville, the official training partner of Major League Soccer. Both venues are fully indoor, so Minnesota winters never cancel your season.
Every game is open to all skill levels, and you sign up as one player rather than a team. Furthermore, our Morby Leaders handle refs, bibs and the ball, and they balance the teams on site. So all you bring is your cleats.

A bigger game on the pro-grade indoor turf of an official MLS training partner, about 20 minutes south of downtown via I-35W. Since the field is full-size for 8v8, there's real space to play — and it's an easy drive from Bloomington, Eagan and Apple Valley.

Morby Sports runs pickup soccer at two indoor venues in the Twin Cities area. First, 9th Street Soccer and Coffee at 801 SE 9th St, Minneapolis, MN 55414 hosts 5v5 co-ed games every Monday at 10:00 PM. Then TOCA Soccer Center at 3601 W 145th St, Burnsville, MN 55306 hosts 8v8 co-ed games on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00 PM. Both are indoor, so games run year-round.
What days and times are the Minneapolis games?
We play three nights a week. Mondays are 5v5 at 10:00 PM at 9th Street Soccer and Coffee in Minneapolis, while Wednesdays and Fridays are 8v8 at 9:00 PM at TOCA Soccer Center in Burnsville. Also, every game is co-ed and open to all skill levels.
What's the difference between the 5v5 and the 8v8 games?
The 5v5 game at 9th Street is small-sided and fast, so you touch the ball constantly and decisions happen quickly. Meanwhile, the 8v8 game at TOCA uses a bigger field, which gives you more space, real positioning and longer passing. Both are co-ed and welcome all levels, so pick the one that suits your style or simply the night that works.
Is TOCA Burnsville in Minneapolis?
No — TOCA Soccer Center is in Burnsville, about 20 minutes south of downtown Minneapolis via I-35W. Our Minneapolis venue is 9th Street Soccer and Coffee, at 801 SE 9th St. Both venues are part of the same Morby Sports schedule in the Twin Cities metro, so you can play at either one.
Do I need a team to play pickup soccer in Minneapolis?

Games at TOCA Burnsville cost $13.99 per player. Every game includes referees, bibs and the ball, plus teams balanced on site by our Morby Leaders. There are no membership fees or contracts — instead, you pay per game and cancel anytime.
What skill level do I need?
All skill levels are welcome, and there are no tryouts. Our Morby Leaders balance the teams each night, so games stay competitive but fun, whether you've played your whole life or are just getting back into it.
